Aghabullogue Under 12 footballers enjoyed a very good win over Iveleary in the first round of their league competition on Friday night in Inchigeela. Having drawn their challenge match with a very capable Aghinagh side, the players were happy with their preparation. Aghabullogue started very well and moved the ball forward quickly. Early scores from Ciarán Cummins, Billy Casey and Anthony Corkery settled any nerves. Some great points were also scored from Ian Barry-Murphy and Oliver Lynch. Great defensive work from captain Michael O'Regan and the expierenced centre-back Sean O'Sullivan kept the Green and Whites well in command throughout. Others to perform well were: Tim McSweeney, Conor Murphy, Cian Herlihy and Daniel O'Rourke.
