Aghabullogue opened their Under 12 hurling campaign with a good win over Balinora on Monday night. Playing against the wind in the first half Aghabullogue led by 2-2 to 0-3 at the break. Further second half goals by Denis Cronin and Jimmy O'Connor sealed the win for the green and whites, who while delighted with the win know there is a lot of room for improvement. Darren Furey, who was playing well, had to go off with an injury and hopefully will make a speedy recovery. Others to play well were David O'Connell, Sean O'Sullivan, Gavin O'Flynn and Michael O'Regan.
